Plagne Soleil (2,050 metres)

Apartments in La Plagne Soleil Plagne Soleil was built in the 1990s. There is a mixture of self-catering apartments as well as catered and self-catered ski chalets.
Ski & Snowboard Access: Plagne Soleil offers genuine doorstep skiing. There is a blue run down to the Melezes chairlift which carries you back over the village and allows acces to Plagne Bellecote and beyond. To ski to Plagne Centre either take the same blue run and catch the Boulevard chairlift or use the St Esprit draglift from just 50m below Plagne Soleil.
See our unique piste guide for more details of all the skiing in la Plagne.
Accommodation Summary: There is a large selection of self-catering apartments. There a few catered and self-catering ski chalets just above the village, these are great for doorstep skiing but do not offer the same quality of accommodation as those in Plagne 1800 or the lower altitude villages.
The biggest selection of ski apartments in la Plagne is probably with:
Apres Ski: Nightlife is very limited, it revovles around the popular Monica pub. There are four restaurants including a pizzeria.

The only shop other than the ski hire shops is a small supermarket.

For a touch of relaxation after a day of skiing or snowboarding around the Paradiski there are a couple of mobile massage service operating in the resort. Massage Me therapists will come to your ski chalet to provide that extra bit of holiday pampering that you are after, or Pamper Off Piste are great for mobile physiotheraphy, osteopathy, massage and beauty services in the comfort of your chalet or holiday accommodation.
Ski Schools: The ski school meeting point is very convenient: it is in the middle of Plagne soleil so easy for a family ski holiday. The ESF ski school is satisfactory although service standards seem to fall during French holidays, group sizes and prices do not. Special beginners' ski packs are available.
The independent ski school Oxygene is based in Plagne Centre which is easy to get to. The independent ski school Reflex is based in Plagne 1800 but can easily arrange to meet elsewhere. The Reflex ski school is the most flexible and probably the best service in la Plagne, it is not the cheapest but does provide good value.
Hire Shops: There are two hire shops in Plagne Soleil.
