Aime la Plagne was completed in the 1960s. It used to win architectural awards, thankfully tastes have changed. The views from Aime la Plagne towards Mont Blanc some 25 miles away are stunning. Recently a Club Med has been completed, this again is ugly. The best accommodation, both for looks and quality is the Hauts Bois complex available through the ski travel agency Snow Hounds. |

| Ski & Snowboard Access: Ski access is superb: it really does provide a ski in, ski out holiday. One blue run leads you to Plagne Centre and all that it has to offer; another blue takes you towards Plagne Montalbert. | Accommodation Summary: All the accommodation is self-catering apartments. For a luxury apartment you can book one of the MGM Hauts Bois ski apartments. These apartments are located on the edge of a blue run and have superb views over the valley. There are over 100 apartments all with free access to the heated private indoor swimming pool; the cardio-training room; suana and steam room. | Apres Ski: For a touch of relaxation after a day of skiing or snowboarding around the Paradiski there are a couple of mobile massage service operating in the resort. | Ski Schools: The ESF is immediately outside the main Aime la Plagne apartment block. The independent ski school Oxygene is in nearby Plagne Centre. Reflex is based in Plagne 1800 but can easily arrange to meet elsewhere. The Reflex ski school is the most flexible and probably the best in la Plagne, it is not the cheapest but does provide good value. Adaptive ski equipment and ski lessons are available for disabled skiers from Antenne. |
